The second royal wedding of 2018 had so much in common with the first. From the idyllic ceremony setting of St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, to the slew of celebrity guests, Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank was, in many ways, reminiscent of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's special day.

As Meghan and Harry's nuptials took place in May, their wedding was inspired by Spring. Conversely, Eugenie and Jack's big day drew from the Autumnal month in which they were wed. From the red and orange hues of their flower arrangements, to the icing adorning their red velvet cake, Eugenie and Jack's wedding was a perfect fit for October.

Here, a look at how Princess Eugenie's official wedding photos compare to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's.

The family photos are very similar.

The composition is extremely similar in both Eugenie and Jack's, and Harry and Meghan's, family wedding photos. One of the biggest differences, though, relates to the number of family members the bride and groom had attending at each wedding.

For instance, only Duchess Meghan's mother features in the official wedding photograph taken of the bride and groom's families. Doria Ragland played a vital role in Harry and Meghan's royal wedding, so it's no surprise that she's so central to the photo, especially as she was the only member of Meghan's family to attend:

Conversely, both Eugenie and Jack had multiple members of their families in attendance for the official wedding photos. While Jack's brother Thomas, and his parents Nicola and George, stand to his right, Eugenie's sister Beatrice, and parents, the Duke and Duchess of York, stand on her left.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are featured in both of 2018's royal weddings, and can be seen sitting in a central position in both photographs.

Somewhat unusually, Eugenie and Jack don't appear very central in their official family photo, instead standing to one side. Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan are very central in their main family shot, and are more closely surrounded by family members.

The young members of their bridal party had very different reactions.

Both Princess Eugenie and the Duchess of Sussex enlisted the help of some young family members, and the children of their closest friends, for their bridal parties.

Meghan's young bridal party included Princess Charlotte, Florence van Cutsem, Ivy Mulroney, Rylan Litt, Remi Litt, and Zalie Warren as bridesmaids. And she enlisted Prince George, Jasper Dyer, Brian Mulroney, and John Mulroney as page boys. In total, the ten children were extremely well behaved in the official wedding photos, and most of them smiled profusely for the photographer, with only one little bridesmaid seeming distracted:

Conversely, Princess Eugenie's young bridal party featured only 8 children in total, some of whom displayed some funny facial expressions on camera:

The six bridesmaids were Princess Charlotte, Savannah Philips, Isla Philips, Mia Tindall, Maud Windsor, and Theodora Williams. Many of the bridesmaids looked a little moody or uncertain in Eugenie and Jack's official photos, with even seasoned professional Princess Charlotte struggling to smile.

Eugenie had just two page boys in her wedding, Prince George and Louis de Givenchy. Little Louis gave a pretty good Blue Steel. And while Prince George had the cutest smile in the children's photo, he didn't look quite so happy when posing with all of the grown ups:

All in all, each set of wedding photos showcases the very individual styles each couple has.
